Calling all local South Florida Artists!

Open to all local artists! Halloween Art Group Show!

Who can put art in this show?
Any and all South Florida local artists are welcome to participate!
What does “local” mean? As long as you can drop off and pick up your artwork in-person and on-time you’re IN!
How far you are willing to drive to do so is your prerogative!
RSVP by email with your name by 9/14/09 to get your name on the printed show flyer!

What do I do?
Artwork must be HALLOWEEN themed. Anything Halloweeny is okay! Zombies, Monsters, etc…
It may be created in any medium as long as it meets size limit listed below.
Bring only your best work! If you’re going to do this, DO IT RIGHT and make your mamma proud!!

Please Note the important info below! You will be TURNED AWAY if the below requirements are not met.
****Limit ONE piece of artwork per person, no larger than11″x14″ in size. Smaller is better.****
11×14″ is a STANDARD FRAME size, if your artwork is framed in a standard frame it is okay if the frame moldings exceed the size limit a bit. PLEASE DO NOT USE HUGE FRAMES THOUGH. We have limited space, which is why we have the size limit in the first place.

****Your artwork MUST have a way to hang on the wall from ONE nail on the back side.****
Do not bring in stretched canvases without a hanger on the back, you will be sent to Home Depot!
Simple sawtooth hangers can be found everywhere… Home Depot, Lowes, Wal-Mart, craft stores, etc.
They are CHEAP and easy to install. Picture hanging wires are also good.
We WILL NOT ACCEPT taped-on wires or tape of any kind. It never holds for long. Ever!!
Trust me, putting a hanger on your artwork easy - just do it!!

Your artwork may be for sale or for display only, further details will be on the registration form
that you will fill out when you drop off your artwork. If you have any questions, just email us.

Final Deadline: Monday, October 5, 2009 at 7pm

Drop off your artwork at TATE’Sfrom Sept. 14 thru Monday, Oct 5th. No exceptions.
DO NOT BRING IN ARTWORK BEFORE SEPTEMBER 14th!
Please note our hours of operation!
Monday-Thursday 11am-8pm, Friday & Saturday 11am-9pm, Sunday 12noon-6pm

****You MUST be able to pick up your artwork between 11/14 and 11/22/09.****
If you do not pick your artwork by 11/22/09, it will be donated to charity.

SHOW OPENS SATURDAY, OCTOBER 17, 2009 and runs through NOVEMBER 13
There will be an opening night party and closing night art pick up party! Woo!
